Wedding Wrapping Paper
Weddings are social events at which the ceremony of marriage is performed. These
events are typically full of high emotions. Traditionally, weddings can be civil
or religious in nature. After the actual marriage ceremony the bride and groom
along with their families and friends gather together to celebrate the union.
Depending on the cultural context, the celebration may be characterized by
dancing, eating, and gift giving.
Of course, what good is an occasion if there are no gifts, to say the least.
Wedding gifts are probably the most elegant (not to mention expensive) gifts of
any gift-giving occasions. Some wedding gifts can be as expensive as a brand new
car or a brand new house. Your gift may not be as expensive or lavish as these,
but it doesn't mean that it can't be presented as elegant as these. To have an
elegant wedding gift, it must be wrapped in stylish and unique wrapping paper.
However, if you want to go traditional, you could settle for designs such as the
ones provided below. Make sure that you do not go beyond the color motif of the
wedding. Customary wedding wrapping paper colors are silver, white, and gold,
which are acceptable regardless of the motif. If you decide to go with the color
motif of the wedding, make sure not to overdue your gift so that it will not
contrast with the motif.
Traditional monotone wrapping papers are also generally accepted as wedding gift
wrappers so as long as they don't fall beyond the shades of gray, silver or any
other light colors. Brightly colored wrapping papers are a no-no when it comes
to wedding. Typical colors are white, gray, and silver, decorated with
coordinating ribbon, preferably, metallic ribbons. You could also use lighter
shades of pink, green, or blue if the motif falls within those color boundaries.
