Easter Wrapping Paper

Religiously speaking, Easter, also known as Passover, is the most important religious feast of the Christian liturgical year. It is usually observed between late March and late April, but in Eastern Christianity, it is observed between early April to early May. This occasion celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which his followers believe occurred after his death.

As with many other Christian celebrations, Easter extends beyond the religious realm. In many Western cultures, Easter is a time of celebration and feasting, dominated by greeting cards, chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow bunnies, and of course - gifts. Common Easter gifts are confectionaries and wrapping them is not an ordinary task.

Traditional Easter wrapping papers can be Easter egg designs, bunnies, and dove (which symbolizes peace).

If you plan to give an Easter gift basket instead of a boxed gift, you can use these wrapping paper designs, but look for strong paper type because you will be using it on an odd-shape gift.

As an alternative to wrapping paper, you can use an extra large colored cellophane wrap or a decorated linen fabric for wrapping. The latter option will also serve as a gift itself if you decide on using this alternative. Whatever material you decide to use, it is important to reflect upon the personal style and interest of the gift recipient. Use a sturdy gift basket with plenty of space to fit all the items and fill the basket with shredded colored paper stuffing or crumpled tissue paper to provide cushion to the items that you will be putting in the gift basket. Once all the items have been organized in an aesthetic fashion, wrap the basket with the wrapping material you have chosen and tie it with a decorated ribbon at the top.
